Steps to convert a candidate file into a consultant profile
In this article
Why converting a candidate file is required
Candidate files allow you to position a consultant on a Request for Proposal (RFP) without creating a personal account.
However, to start a project, the consultant must have access to the platform. This access is required to complete the monthly Activity Report (AR), which can only be submitted with a personal consultant account.
When you win an RFP, you must therefore convert the candidate file into a full consultant profile (personal account).
This article explains how to complete this conversion.
Steps to convert a candidate file into a consultant profile
Step 1: Access candidate files
Open the RFPs tab.
Click Candidate files.
Step 2: Filter candidate files to convert
Apply the filter Proposal Status: Appointed– Profile to be created.
Filter by your name in the File created by column to identify priority files.
Step 3: Open the candidate file
Locate the relevant candidate file.
Open the context menu and click View.
Step 4: Start the conversion
At the top of the candidate file, locate the banner:
“Congratulations! You won a request for proposal”Click Create profile at the bottom of the banner.
Step 5: Create a user account
In the window that opens, complete the required information.
Click Create account.
The email address entered will be used by the consultant to access the platform. An automatic email is sent so the consultant can set their password.
Tip
If the email address entered is already linked to an active consultant profile, that existing profile is automatically proposed and will not be duplicated.
