Choose your verification method
Step 2 — Select a verification method
You can use:
- A mobile authentication app, or
- A browser-based authentication extension.
Recommendation
Using a mobile authentication app is recommended. It works offline and is easier to manage across multiple devices.
Scan the QR code
Step 3 — Scan the QR code
Open your authentication app. The steps may vary depending on the app.
Example procedure:
- Tap Add a code.
- Select Scan a QR code.
- The camera opens.
- Point your phone at the QR code displayed on the screen.
- If successful, your account appears in the app.
If you have trouble scanning
- Click Trouble scanning?
- Copy the key displayed on the screen.
- Add the account manually in your authentication app.
Enter the 6-digit code
Step 4 — Enter the 6-digit code
Your authentication app generates a 6-digit code:
- The code is temporary.
- It refreshes every 30 seconds.
Enter this code in the field provided to activate MFA for your account.
Save your recovery code (Important)
Step 5 — Save your recovery code
After MFA activation, a recovery code is displayed.
This code allows you to sign in if:
- You lose your phone, or
- You no longer have access to your authentication app.
Treat this code as an access key to your account.
Recommended storage locations
- A password manager
- A secure notes application
- An offline file stored in a safe location
Copy the code, store it securely, then confirm the action.
Sign in after MFA activation
Each time you sign in, after entering your password, an MFA verification step is required.
Option 1 — Code via authentication app (recommended)
- Open your authentication app.
- Enter the code displayed.
- You can select Remember this device for 30 days to skip this step on future sign-ins.
Option 2 — Security code by email
If you cannot use your authentication app:
- Click Try another method.
- Select Email.
A 6-digit code is sent to your inbox.
Option 3 — Recovery code
If you have access to neither your authentication app nor your email:
- Click Try another method.
- Select Recovery code.
- Enter the code saved during MFA setup.

Troubleshooting common MFA issues
❌ The code is invalid
Check the following:
- Your phone time is set automatically.
- You are using the most recent code.
- You wait for the next code refresh (every 30 seconds).
- You are entering the code for the correct account.
❌ The QR code does not scan
Try these solutions:
- Use the authentication app, not the phone camera.
- Increase screen brightness.
- Zoom in or out.
- Use the manual key.
- Restart the authentication app.
❌ No verification email received
Check:
- Spam or junk folders.
- Email filters.
- The email address used to sign in.
Wait 30 seconds before trying again.
❌ Phone changed and authentication app lost
Use:
- The email-based MFA method, or
- The recovery code.
Reset your MFA
If no method is accessible, contact Support.
Additional identity verification may be required, such as:

- Consistency of usage history,
- Information related to projects or invoices,
- Administrative documents.
These checks are intended to protect your account.
Security best practices
To keep your account secure:
- Never share your MFA codes.
