Connect using multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor authentication system (MFA)
Multifactor authentication is an enhanced security feature that helps protect your data against cyber threats, by preventing unauthorized access to your LittleBig Connection account. This feature is activated by default for all the expertise companies (IT service providers, etc.) having an account on LittleBig Connection and is not deactivatable.
When you log on to LittleBig Connection for the first time, you will need to follow a few configuration steps, which we will detail below. You will then be able to use this multi-factor authentication in just a few clicks for future connections.

First connection with the new MFA system
To use MFA, you will need an authentication extension on your computer's browser (Authenticator extension on Google Chrome, for example) or an application on your phone (Google Authenticator, Microsoft authenticator, etc.) or on your computer. If you don't already have one, please download one before completing the steps below.

With an authentication extension on your computer's browser
Below are the configuration steps to follow when you log in for the first time following your account creation, using an authentication extension on your computer's browser:
- On the LittleBig Connection platform login page, enter your email address and click Next to be redirected to the page enabling you to configure the MFA for your account
- Enter your platform login password and click on Continue
- You are redirected to a page containing a QR code
- Open the Authenticator extension on Google Chrome (or any other authentication extension) and click on the scanner icon
- Scan the QR code in the center of the page to add your LittleBig Connection account to your list of secure accounts
- In this list, you will see an encrypted one-time password for this account that resets every 30 seconds, please copy it
- Enter these numbers on the authentication page, under the QR code, and click Continue
- Next, copy your recovery code to a secure location by clicking on Copy code
- Once done, check the I have safely recorded this code box, and click on Continue

With an authentication application on your phone
Below are the configuration steps to follow when you log in for the first time following your account creation, using an authentication application on your phone:
- On the LittleBig Connection platform login page, enter your email address and click Next to be redirected to the page enabling you to configure the MFA for your account
- Enter your platform login password and click on Continue
- You are redirected to a page containing a QR code
- Go to your authentication application and click to add a new account
- Scan the QR code in the center of the page to add your LittleBig Connection account to your list of secure accounts
- In this list, click on the one you have just created (entitled littlebigconnection)
- On the page that appears on your phone, you will see an encrypted one-time password that resets every 30 seconds. Enter these numbers on the authentication page, under the QR code, and click Continue
- Next, copy your recovery code to a secure location by clicking on Copy code
- Once done, please check the I have safely recorded this code box, and click on Continue

Following connections
Once configured, your next connections to the platform will be just a few clicks away:
- On the LittleBig Connection login page, enter your email address and click Next to be redirected to the MFA login page
- Enter your password and click Continue
- By clicking on Try another method, you can select the authentication method that suits you best:
- Google Authenticator or similar: use the code from your authentication app/extension
- Email: use a code sent to you via email
- Recovery code: use the code provided to you when configuring your MFA
- For example, let's take Google Authenticator or similar
- Open the authentication application on your phone or the extension on your browser and transfer the encrypted code to the authentication page, then click Continue
