Once you have responded to one or more Requests for Proposals (RFPs), you can modify your proposals. In this article, we will look at the different actions you can take.

  • Modify a proposal

.

Modify a proposal

Once your proposal has been sent, you can modify the information if necessary, but only if it has not yet been validated by the client (status Appointed).

You cannot modify the proposal sent when you respond to a project extension request. To find out more, visit this article.

To change your proposal:

  1. Go to the RFPs tab and click on My marketplace RFPs
  2. In the Active RFP tab, scroll down to the proposal in question, then open the action menu and click on View proposal details
  3. On the page that will appear, open the action menu in the top right and click on Edit this application
  4. On your proposal page, you can modify:
    • The sale pitch
    • Your availability
    • The amount of daily fees (if applicable)
    • The Consultant assigned
Idea.svg If you have positioned a Candidate file, you can also modify its data by clicking on the view.svg icon, and on the  pencil.svg icon or on Modify for each type of information.

Warning.svg
You cannot modify the proposed rate, unless your proposal has the status Not interesting.
When you click to modify a proposal, all boxes are unchecked by default. You will need to check again the mandatory boxes (commitment to go on site, for instance) and the options you are interested in, such as Immediate Payment.

Cancel a proposal

If necessary, you can also cancel one of your proposals as long as it has not been validated by the client (status Appointed). To do so:

  1. Go to the RFPs tab and click on My marketplace RFPs
  2. In the Active RFP tab, scroll down to the proposal in question, then open the action menu and click on Cancel the proposal
  3. In the window that will appear, choose the reason for cancelling your proposal from the options provided:
    • The Consultant has started another project via LittleBig Connection
    • The Consultant has started another project with a preferred Client
    • Other (please specify)
  4. Click on Confirm

The status of your proposal will then change to Cancelled. It will remain in the Active RFP tab for as long as the RFP is open, and will be moved to the Lost RFP tab once the RFP is closed.
The client is informed by email and via a notification on the platform.

Idea.svg If necessary, you can submit again a proposal if the RFP is still open, and that you still match the publication criteria the Client chose for the RFP.
