Multi-projects Requests for Proposals
A multi-projects Request For Proposals (RFP) is a premium feature, useful when you are looking for several experts for the same type of profile/project. It saves you from creating various RFPs or duplicating the same RFP for the same need, you can do it with just one. Let's see in this article how a multi-project RFP works, from its creation to the selection of proposals.

Create a multi-projects RFP
If the multi-projects RFP option is activated on your account, you can, as an Operational manager, indicate the number (between 2 and 99) of profiles you are looking for in a project, when you create the corresponding RFP, on a Time and materials or Fixed price basis.
For example, if you need 4 Junior Java Developers, you do not need to create 4 RFPs, you can create only one RFP (a multi-projects RFP) and indicate that you are looking for 4 experts for this need.
On a Fixed price RFP, you can also indicate the number of profiles required, as well as the maximum number of proposals that each Service provider can make on your RFP. Freelancers are limited to one proposal since they only have their own profile to submit.

Select proposals on a multi-projects RFP
Overall, the selection of proposals is the same as for a traditional RFP.
When the first profile is selected, the status of the proposal will automatically change to Appointed. The selection will lead to the creation of a derivative RFP, identical to the original multi-projects RFP and attached to it. A Purchase Order (PO) will also be created and associated with the derivative RFP.
Until you have found all the experts you need, the multi-projects RFP will remain open, with the status Published with proposals, to continue selecting profiles.
As soon as all profiles are selected, the status of the RFP will change to Team complete and you will have as many derivative RFPs and POs as appointed profiles.
