Validate the publication of a Request for Proposals
Workflows allow you to map out and portray your purchasing cycle within the LittleBig Connection platform. Thanks to them, you can add one or several validation steps, based on different criteria you may have previously defined, prior to the publication of a Request For Proposals. In this article, let's see how to take action in a validation workflow, and for more information on how to set them up, you can read the article Configuration of a Validation Workflow.

Take action on the RFP publication
On the workflow page, you will find on the right, a summary of the RFP information. In the middle, there is the Validation Steps section, where you can make your decision about the publication of the RFP, and below you have a section going over the budget and the spending line associated to help you decide.
- If you wish to authorize the publication, click on the icon. A window will open where you can write a comment, then click again on Validate.
- If there are further validation steps, the workflow continues and the next validator is notified.
- If there are no further validation steps, the workflow is completed and the RFP is subsequently published. Its status will also change to Published.
- If you want to reject the publication of the RFP, click on the icon. A window will open, allowing you to write a comment, then click on Validate. By rejecting the publication, the operational manager in charge of the RFP is notified and the status of the RFP changes to Publication refused. Your comment will allow the operational manager to make the required changes so that the RFP can be published. After modifications, the RFP will follow the validation workflow again.
